Fried rice is one of the comfort foods. It’s simple and easy to make. Fried rice is one of the best recipes to eat whenever you are dieting or following portion meals or just want to have super comfort food.
So today let’s make a healthy, simple, and tasty egg-fried rice.
Ingredients
- Capsicum diced – 1/2 cup
- Carrot – 1 small diced
- Eggs – 1
- Rice – 1 Cup
- Coriander – handful
- Green chilies chopped – 2-3
- Onion diced – 1
- Coriander powder – 1tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1tsp
- Chill powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Pepper – 1/2 tsp
- Oil – 1 Tablespoon
Process
- Firstly wash and dice your vegetables, I have taken carrot, capsicum, and onions but you can also add whatever veggies you want to add.
- Take a pan heat it on medium flame, add 1 Tablespoon oil. let it heat.
- Now add chopped green chilies, minced ginger, and garlic. Fry them for 30 seconds.
- Add onions and fry them till they turn golden now add in your veggies.
- Give it a good stir and don’t cover as it will make veggies lose their crunch.
- After 2 min add in your egg and let it cook undisturbed. after 1 minute stir it nicely mixing it with veggies.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, pepper, and chili powder and cook for 2 min.
- Finally, add in your rice and stir well and cook for 2 min and garnish with coriander.
